As background, our primary purpose here at Mission NYC is to build dynamic customized mission trips for groups.  Our ministries mission is to meet the specific calling, goals and expectations of each team that comes to minister and serve the Lord here in New York City.  A mission trip can last one day, a week or just a weekend; you have full control on the length of your mission trip. This includes your arrival day.

Below is our budget friendly pricing where you can select specific mission trip support services, a la carte, that Mission NYC provides. Our ministry will coordinate and schedule for you and your group a robust and life impacting mission trip, through our extensive ministry and non-profit network of over 300 ministries, service organizations and governmental agencies, for your mission trip to NYC.

The cost of a NYC mission trip is very affordable, as you can see below. However, the cost per person will vary based on your choice of housing, sightseeing and other discretionary options. These include, ministry city hosts, airport shuttles, extra sightseeing options and the type of housing comfort that meets your unique needs.

 

Regardless of your optional choices, all mission trips will have a robust & diverse ministry schedule that is confirmed and re-confirmed in advance of your arrival date. In addition, a single day of ministry can have as many as 5 different ministry locations & projects thus maximizing the experiences of your group.  Subway passes are also automatically added.

Rather than being another cookie cutter mission trip facilitator, our ministry focuses on placing mission teams like yours in situations and opportunities that meet the skills of your people. We accomplish this by placing you in direct & in-direct situations that meet the needs of our fellow Christians in need of encouragement and more purposefully, we place your folks in a position to actually share the Love of Jesus Christ and HIS gift of salvation to a hurting people who have yet to accept Him as their Lord and Savior.

We Offer Different Types of Housing Options to meet your comfort requirements

To further assist you in your mission trip planning and budgeting process, Mission NYC provides discounted housing, sightseeing packages, point to point directions, local subway & bus passes and free tracts to help you contain costs while maximizing your mission trip experience.  We also can arrange for airport shuttles, NYC park permits and dedicated a ministry city host.

 

Regardless of the housing location you select, you will receive our nationally recognized ministry planning and scheduling services, 24/7 emergency access to Mission NYC staff, free planning & training manuals, free tracts to distribute in NYC, point to point walking & subway directions, a church referral list to send new believers for follow up, detailed maps and navigation tools and much more.

 

 

 

NYC Mission Trips Costs

Maximum Group size at a single church is 35

 

 

Church Floor (No AC's): We provide sturdy military cots at all the churches we support. Bring a sleeping bag or twin air mattress to place on top of the cots for added comfort.  The churches have kitchens to prep meals, meeting space for devotionals and group worship, and multiple his/hers showers for the group to use. Subway & Bus stations are located close to the churches.  Free parking may be available. Wi-Fi is available at some churches.

·         We do not provide meals, however we do provide you with a searchable database with menus & prices.

 

$30/pp/day for Dorm Style Church Housing

Maximum Group size at a single church is 44

Dorm Style Bunk Bed Housing (Not a Hostel) (Has AC):  Bring sheets, pillows & linens. The churches have male/female bunk rooms, kitchens to prep meals, meeting space for devotionals and group worship, and multiple his/hers showers for the group to use. Subway & Bus stations are located close to the churches.  Street parking only is available. Wi-Fi is available at some churches.

o   We do not provide meals, however we do provide you with a searchable database with menus & prices.

Discounted rates vary depending on the time of year & availability.

Over the years Mission NYC has developed many relationships with many hotel properties that we now leverage to meet your space needs and budget

For College Dormitory Housing

Rooms have shared bathrooms & showers with the room next door.

Brooklyn, Queens or Manhattan  College Campus housing. We work with several Colleges that have dorms rooms available on a first come first booking basis. 

They Include: 24-hour building security, luggage storage, meeting space for devotionals and group worship, linens, Air Conditioners are installed in all the rooms.  Access to gym, pool & dining facilities for a fee.

 They are all located near NYC subway/bus stations

AIRPORT SHUTTLES

 

 

 

Roundtrip door to door transfers from the airport or Amtrak.

In addition, to help make your mission trip planning easier, Mission NYC can also arrange roundtrip transfers from the airport to and from your housing for only $49/person (minimum group size for this price is 10 people) 

 

 

 

Point to Point Travel Directions

 

 

 

Tools for Detailed Point to Point Walking & Subway Directions

 

 

 

 

An exclusive support service, Mission NYC creates and gives you detailed addresses and tools to create mobile Point-to-Point directions for your entire mission trip. These include subway, bus and walking directions, maps and approximate travel time between ministry points.

 

 

 

Local NYC Subway/Bus Passes

 

 

 

Local NYC Subway Passes $34 (Mission NYC is authorized by the NYC MTA to purchase MetroCards in advance.)   Includes a $2 handling Fee

 

 Unlimited dual use subway and bus passes are only $33/week (7 days). 

 

If you decide to purchase these on your own once you get to NYC, every subway station sells them. However all transactions are “CASH ONLY” no credit cards are accepted for more than 2 passes.

Concert NYC Parks & NYPD Sound Permits

 

New York City Park & NYPD Sound Permits

 

$225 / permit

 

Effective March 17 2017

 

 

To perform a concert, puppet show or drama that uses any type of amplified sound in any NYC park, a park and sound permit are required by the City of New York.

 

Mission NYC handles the entire process of securing and collecting the 2 permits for your ministry activity.

·         Museum Memorial to the Holocaust

·         Ground Zero 9-11 Memorial

·         A visit to Chinatown & Times Square

 

You can add an Empire State Building visit for an additional $34/pp

 

Package B - $164

·         A Broadway Show - shows you can pick from include:          Wicked, Lion King, Cinderella, Phantom of the Opera, Blue Man Group and more are available.

·         Museum Memorial to the Holocaust

·         Statue of Liberty

·         A visit to Staten Island Ferry, Chinatown & Times Square

·         Ground Zero 9-11 Memorial

How Much to Budget for MEALS

 

 

Meals - $34/day

Breakfast - $7

Lunch  - $9

Dinner - $18*

 

 

If you plan to purchase all your meals out and about the city throughout your mission trip this is approximately how much to budget each day.

 

It helps to bring water containers to refill throughout the day.
